Some more signings, Jason Smith to Ottawa; Morrison to the Ducks. Let’s recap and what’s happened. Forwards- Hossa to Detroit, Jagr to Russia, Sundin-nothing yet; Huselius to Columbus, Avery to Dallas, Malone to Tampa Bay, Straka- nothing, Naslund to the Rangers, Rolston to New Jersey, Demitra-nothing, Vrbata with the Lighting. Defence- Campbell with Chicago, Redden with the Rangers, Streit with the Islanders, Hainsey with Atlanta; Orpik and Roszival resign with the Pequins and Rangers. Goalies- Huet to Chicago, Theodore to Washington, and Conklin with the Wings. Lots of other moves but those were most of the major ones that will help teams.
You never know how things will turn out with new players, Detroit was ousted in the first round several times in the last few years. We’ll discuss what I think was the reason next.
